Gateau is my honey. To describe her with words - impossible.

It would only be able to paint a dimly picture - miles away from what I feel for her.

Destiny brought us together.

In summer 2009 Gateau came to us from Sweden.

She was born in England at Gaterley stud.

She's a rock. Resting in herself - her piercing glance - shivers will run down your spine.

Our beloved Gateau owns further more a pedigree, that sends breeders into transports of pure delight.

Her father's side is stunning remarkable - her father is the famous GAMLINGAY MIDAS, son of the century

stallion BIRLING GOLDEN CLOUD, beside our BIRLING GREY MIRAGE the most important BIRLINg stallions.

In combination with BIRLING GOLD CREST a marvellous fruitful composition.

BIRLING GOLD CREST is also the daughter of the legendary BIRLING GOLDEN CLOUD out of the unique

TYROS BLOSSOM.

TYROS BLOSSOM is as well dam of BIRLING GLINT OF GOLD, the sire of our international celebrated

Cremello stallion KILCUMMER CRACKERJACK - the only Cremello son sired by BIRLING GLINT OF GOLD.

TYROS BLOSSOM is further more dam of the outstanding TYROS BELLA (dam of BIRLING GOLDEN SAMBA,

BIRLING CHICO and BIRLING SPELLBOUND), therewith also granddam of our pure old BIRLING stallion

BIRLING DORADO and our charismatic leading mare BIRLING BRIGHT MIRAGE.

The mother of our beloved GATERLEY GATEAU is the unforgetable SHIREHILL PEEK-A-BOO.

SHIREHILL PEEK-A-BOO is a fantastic palomino daughter of the well-known TYROS GOLDHAWK.

TYROS GOLDHAWK is a very famous donor, sire of the wonderful BIRLING GOLDEN GIRL,

dam of BIRLING GOLDEN WONDER, and therewith great-grandfather of our beloved BIRLING TIFFANY.

SHIREHILL PEEK-A-BOO carries on her father's side as well as on her mother's side the founder of the famous

ARDMAIR stud, REARLIGHT OF FELBRIDGE born in 1941, and leads back by ARDMAIR ROSEFLOWER and

leegendary names like FLORIO, FAIRY LIGHT, ELECTRIC LIGHT, THOREAU and ODIN to the founder of the

english Shetland Pony breeding- the legendary JACK 16- born in 1871.

So it stands self-explanatory to reason, of which value GATERLEY GATEAU is for our stud.

The composition of her unique character, we never have found before, and her wonderful colour in

composition with her remarkable pedigree make her irreplacable.

Sue Bowling, president of the SPSBS, was willing to pay 3000 UK pounds for her as a FOAL.

And her value increased more and more by age.

I am overwhelmed with joy to bring them together. No matter if colt or filly- these foals will stay.

And a lovely character. We can't wait to hold this foal in our arms! I guess it will be something very unique.

She is so sensitive. Sitting on the pasture- she comes always and puts her head on our shoulders.

Gateau means the world to us.

allowing me to immerse myself in other worlds..
